James Hrubes is the Chief Technology Information Security Officer of Metro Access. As a thought leader and technologist, he has led the building and introduction of C5ISR based telecommunications services for Metro Access Networks in artificial intelligence, dataflow grids, adaptive supercomputing, and forward encryption algorithms. He has also played a significant role in the development of innovative Metro Access products and solutions based on these emerging technologies.
Over his 30-year career in telecommunications, James led a series of bold transformations and delivered proven technology results. He most recently drove the successful AIS project that will transform the future of cybersecurity protection of high-value users and assets.
James previously was Chief Scientist in Network Architecture and Design for Brooks Fiber and Worldcom, where he pioneered the company’s internet commercialization efforts and created a next generation fiber optic service architecture based on IP switching to provide commercial and residential internet access.
